Lately, things have been crazy wild! School has pretty much eaten me alive, but I’ve found time to spend with my friends and family, nonetheless.
To start off, I would like everyone to pray for my best friend Amber and her family. Her aunt was diagnosed with cancer in September, I think it was, and since then it has spread to her brain, spinal fluid, and lungs. I haven’t met her but she must be pretty amazing because Amber loves her so much and is really having a difficult time right now so everyone please be praying for peace of mind for her and her family.
Secondly, Caleb has finally recovered from his surgery, which is awesome! Being the worrier I am, I was quite worried about him, but everything is going great and he heads back to Georgia Friday which I’m not too excited about, but oh well!
My cousin Josh is still at Teen Challenge and from what we hear, he is doing great! Thank the Lord! He seems to be making some amazing changes in his life and I am so thankful. I know God has big plans for his life and I cannot wait to see Josh when he leaves the program because I know he is going to do some awesome things in the future. I am so proud of him. Also, Caleb’s brother, Colby, is at Teen Challenge now, but at a different location. I pray that he seeks God the way Josh has and that these same changes will be made in his life. How awesome would it be if he and Josh teamed up after the program and did ministry together?! Whoa, I would love it!
I turned in my notice at work yesterday and I am so excited! I will miss the experience I was gaining as a designer, but good things come and go. I will miss everyone there, we have fun even though it can be stressful at times.
Now for some randomness, I have ran upon some awesome things lately and thought I would share them.
• Cranberry Vanilla Sprite from Sonic
• Brand New Eyes: Paramore
• Any music by Kate Voegele
• My love for sticky notes has exploded!
• Vanilla Caramel Coffee Creamer from Coffee mate
• Pumpkin Pie, yummm!
• Crest Vivid White Toothpaste
• Crest Whitening Mouthwash… I thought this was a hoax, but it’s great, actually!
• Sharpie Pens
• The new Chris Tomlin Christmas CD, it’s fan-tas-tic!
• The New Moon Soundtrack
• Coconut Lime Verbena from Bath and Body Works, love it!
• My Fair Wedding with David Tutera is a new favorite! He can plan my wedding any day! Haha
And lastly, Thanksgiving is in two days and I’m pretty excited about eating my weight in food I probably shouldn’t be eating! I have so much to be thankful for this year. I am so blessed with some awesome friends. Amber, Jenna, and Lee, I love you guys sooooo much! Amber and Lee, I see too much of your precious faces, but I never get tired of you guys. How we ended up meeting is so random because we were in classes that in no way related to what we are doing now, but whatever the reason, I am so glad. I love you guys! Jenna, I don’t get to see you nearly as much as I would like to, but I love you anyway! I wish we could still hang out at the playground everyday, but we will spend lots of time there over Christmas break! Also, I cannot wait to see New Moon with you this weekend! Love you! I am thankful for my sister Lea who I don’t get to see that often even though she is right down the road. She’s amazing and always there for me. I am so lucky to have her. I am thankful for Caleb because he’s just himself. He’s always been my best friend and I foresee no changes in that department. He’s the best and I am so glad God put him in my life. I am so very thankful for my friends Eric and Jessica and their precious, beautiful little girl Kaylan! They are such good friends and I love them so much. Maybe someday soon I will get my own niece or nephew and I can stop claiming Kaylan as mine, but probably not. I’ll still say she’s mine. : ) I am also so glad to have reconnected with family from far away like Kim, Butch, Jeana, Angie and Aunt Joyce on my dad’s side of the family, and Brandon and Cortney on my mom’s side of the family and Cortney’s beautiful new wife Lindsy! My parents are amazing and I am so blessed to have them. They have always been wonderful to me and my sister and have been the best example of being a Christian I could ask for.
Lots of things to thank God for this year!!
